It's a way for couples to consecrate their union, seeking Mary and Joseph's intercession to live their marriage as a vocation of love and unity.
What it Involves:
Commitment: Taking Mary and Joseph as patrons, striving for a marriage reflecting Christ's love for the Church.
Practices:
Celebrating the Feast of the Holy Spouses (Jan 23).
Praying the Holy Spouses Rosary weekly.
Having a picture of Mary and Joseph enthroned in their home.
Living marriage as a vocation, upholding Church teachings.
Avoiding contraception/sterilization.
Enthronement Rite: A private blessing in the home, often involving readings, blessings of the image of the Holy Spouse.
Who Can Receive:
Married Catholic couples seeking to deepen their marital spirituality and live according to Church ideals, inspired by Mary and Joseph.
